Our Team

OakBrook was founded in 2014 to bring technology and social innovation to Bay Area land and apartment developments designed for double digit returns. In addition to LEED certification, we manage modular manufacturing construction with 25-30% faster build times. To meet the Bay Area’s already extreme and increasing demand, we create and manage deals and tax structures for targeted, stable-income, workforce housing projects. Our multi-faceted approach includes partnering with local stakeholders and businesses for in-house resident and neighborhood support services. The East Bay also has a growing demand for new, suburban communities, where we successfully navigate its complex political and environmental challenges.

Elizabeth Brady

Managing Partner

Experience

Ms. Brady has 19 years of experience across all stages of real estate development. Throughout her career, she’s entitled over 1,200 units of residential, 1 msf of commercial, and 80 megawatts of solar. She’s also a member of Wharton Bay Area Real Estate, a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional, and earned her Finance MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.

Malik Franklin

Advisor

Experience

Mr. Franklin is cofounder of Northbridge Investments, LLC, a real estate firm currently engaged in over $1B in acquisition and development projects. His 20 years of investment banking experience includes 15 years dedicated to the real estate sector, where he’s raised over $5B in capital for REITs and Fortune 500’s. He holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute, a California DRE Brokerage Licensee (#01926241), and has achieved his FINRA Series 7 & 63.

Dagan Boyce

Mr. Boyce is a cofounder of Boyce Electric and has over 20 years of experience across all stages of electrical design, installation, and maintenance for new and existing residential and commercial construction. He’s known for accountability, creative field problem-solving, and relationship-driven budgeting. He helps OakBrook keep operating costs low by participating in long-term maintenance planning. Boyce Electric holds a C-10 Electrical Contractor license issued by the CA Contractors State License Board.
